I started my professional career at Scotiabank as a Personal Banking Officer, where I helped my clients with their banking needs which included Mortgages, Lines of Credit, and Credit Cards. Two years later, I joined ScotiaMcLeod as an Investment Executive, and for 6 years, I worked with my clients building financial plans and portfolios to achieve their investment and retirement goals. My time at ScotiaMcLeod gave me the opportunity to build the skill sets needed to analyze companies and market conditions. After 8 years with the same financial institution, my wife Megan and I decided to start a publishing company where we founded and built a national print/digital, fashion focused, magazine called The Block Magazine. While building The Block, I worked with major national and international media companies that represented major brands such as AUDI, PUMA, GStar, Cooper MINI and many more. Working with these clients, I developed a deep understanding about how major brands build and develop marketing campaigns through ‘direct’ and ‘top of mind’ marketing strategies. During the last 7 years, I have learned the importance of creating a marketing campaign which includes digital, outdoor, and print platforms. At the same time, working with these media agencies, I developed a keen sense of negotiation. I truly believe the marketing and negotiation skills I learned through The Block, along with my ability to speak fluent Mandarin, and my deep understanding of the Mainland Chinese Culture will help bring value to my clients, today, when they sell or buy their home. MEGAN WILSON HO
Born and raised in Vancouver, I grew up watching my hometown grow from a small West Coast city, into a thriving, multi-cultural, and international city. I started my professional career as an early childhood educator where I spent nine years working with children and their families. It was from this experience, that I started to see how families tried so hard to juggle between work and taking care of their children. This is when I saw just how important a home is in providing families a safe, warm and loving environment. Along with obtaining my degree in Early Child Care and Education, I later volunteered and obtained my Crisis Centre Counseling Intervention Certificate which gave me great insight into what Vancouverites may go through on a daily basis. In 2002 I obtained my real estate license and brought my sense of family and home to my real estate practice. Throughout my years of experience with children, families and coaching, the most important thing I learned was to truly listen to, and understand, my client’s needs. In order for me to find the right home for my clients, or sell their home, I had to really understand what they were looking for and empathize with the issues in life that they were currently experiencing. My professionalism and deep understanding of Vancouver’s real estate market is also something I pride myself in providing to my clients. In my spare time, I also study human wellness and natural & holistic health care. Please contact me anytime at email@example.com or call us at 604-732-1336.
I am from a family of hard working entrepreneurs and Realtors, who know how important it is to take care of your customers, for life. In 1997, I started Changes Clothing & jewellery Bar in West Point Grey, against all odds, when I was 24. It continues to win awards today and my staff carry on my vision of using the store as a vehicle to make positive change. Since 1997, Changes donates free clothing to women in need in the Downtown Eastside on a weekly basis, along with raising thousands of dollars over the years for local and global charities. Being a Realtor is the perfect fit for me as I love the entrepreneurial and client care aspect of it, plus I truly believe in real estate as an investment. I am detail driven and thrive when negotiating and taking care of logistics and details for clients. I have been fortunate to have been nominated for and received entrepreneurial and sales awards for my store and for real estate. Being nominated by my peers and clients for the Professional Excellence® Award and the Realtors Care® Award in 2015, was an honour.
